# Migration guide

Hello and welcome! This article is for our valued long-time users who have been with us since the first version of **Customer Photo Uploader**. We’re excited to share that our app has moved to a new and improved **version 2.0**! The updated version brings even more customization options for your photo galleries and a smoother user experience.

We understand that any change may feel inconvenient, but we’ve done everything possible to make this migration simple and quick. And as always, if you need any help along the way, our Support Team is here for you and will gladly answer any questions.

#### What do you need to do?

To continue using the app and displaying your customer photo galleries on your store, please complete **Step 1** of the installation process described here: [**Installation Instructions**.](/user-manual/getting-started/installation-instructions.md)

In version 2.0, the widget is integrated differently into your storefront, so this step is **required** to keep the app working.

{% hint style="warning" %}
In case you encounter the **"Liquid templates don't support sections and blocks"** error, please contact our Support Team at <support@customer-photo-uploader.app>, and we'll gladly assist you further.
{% endhint %}

#### About Step 2 of the installation instructions

You can safely **skip Step 2**, since you have already uploaded photos to your account. However, if you’d like to explore the new interface and features, feel free to upload a test photo and try approving or rejecting it.

We truly hope you enjoy the new version and find even more value in what it brings. And we’ll continue improving the app to help you build powerful customer engagement with authentic photo galleries.

Sincerely yours,\
**The Customer Photo Uploader Team**
