Shopify Customer Photo Uploader App Overview
This guide provides a complete overview of the Customer Photo Uploader app, from installation to managing your first customer photos. By following the link to the installation guide, you can quickly integrate photo upload capabilities into your Shopify store via the Customer Photo Uploader application and begin collecting valuable user-generated content (UGC).
This overview covers the main sections of the app:
Your central command center. The Dashboard gives you an at-a-glance view of your UGC performance. You can monitor your most recent submissions, the statuses of the uploaded photos, and redact them as well. It also features a Help block, where you can each client can choose the most convenient way of getting assistance - via the Help Center or by reaching the Support team directly.
Your central content library. The Photos page is where every image submitted by your customers is stored. This is your primary hub for content management, allowing you to moderate new submissions with one-click approval, assign photos to relevant galleries, and manage your entire UGC collection before it’s displayed on your site.
The Product Galleries section is used to configure the display of customer photos on individual product pages. Users can manage the content of each gallery, assign a photo from one gallery to a few others, reject, approve, remove from the gallery, or delete the photos completely.
The Custom Galleries feature enables the creation of standalone photo galleries for use on various pages of the website, such as the homepage or dedicated landing pages. Users can select specific images from the main photo library to assemble curated collections. Each custom gallery can then be embedded into the desired location on the Shopify store.
The Pricing page provides an overview of your current plan and available subscription options. You can compare features across all plans and choose the best fit for your store.
The Settings page is used to configure all customer-facing text and translations. Users can edit content for the upload widget, including titles, buttons, and error messages.
